Community & Service

Some of the most meaningful experiences in life never belong on a résumé.

This page is not about accomplishments or recognition. It is a collection of experiences that helped shape my perspective on service, gratitude, community, and helping others.

🤝 Thanksgiving Morning

A quiet lesson in gratitude and service

One Thanksgiving morning, our church delivered meals throughout the community.

One of our final stops was the local fire station.

While many families were gathering around dinner tables, firefighters were spending their holiday serving others and remaining ready to respond if someone needed help.

It was a simple stop, but an important reminder that many people sacrifice time with their own families so their communities can remain safe.

Moments like this have helped shape my appreciation for service, gratitude, and the people who quietly support others behind the scenes.

Reflection

Service is not always loud, visible, or measurable. Sometimes it is early mornings, ordinary deliveries, quiet conversations, and people showing up because others are depending on them.
