Project overview
The Monument is a luxury apartment community in Pooler, Georgia delivered in partnership with Logan Developers Inc. The pool design, structural systems, and overall amenity layout were established by the design and engineering team before the project came to me. The completed amenity included a large recreational swimming pool, sun shelf lounging areas, expansive deck space, and gathering areas that create a hotel-inspired atmosphere. My contribution focused on project coordination, finish selection documentation, RFI and submittal support, scheduling coordination, communication across stakeholders, and project recordkeeping.
Challenges
Coordinating an already-designed resort-style amenity package against an active luxury multifamily construction schedule with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and finish packages to track and document.
Lessons learned
Hospitality-grade outdoor spaces demand disciplined finish documentation and tight stakeholder communication. Aligning the developer, GC, and aquatic trades on a single look-ahead kept the amenity on the critical path.
